Documental facilitates and fundraises for Sing and Sign Jukebox Choir, an inclusive singing and signing Makaton choir.

The choir is a supportive joyful group that grows year on year with over 20 members, more than half of whom are adults with communication difficulties. Sing and Sign Jukebox Choir celebrates non-verbal communication through song, delivering banging, uplifting sets at festivals and events across the Southwest. We are funded by National Lottery and supported by Newton Abbot Museum.

If you would like to find out more about the choir or trying out a session, email [email protected]

No previous singing or Makaton signing experience needed and we adapt our activities to embrace a wide range of access needs.

The choir is free to join and meets fortnightly in Newton Abbot. Choir members choose our songs, costumes and gigs. Singing is led my Joanne Rogers, and the signing is led by Makaton tutor Allison Wright.
